Sarah Hawkins

Sarah joined Schumacher College in 2022, as a Master’s student on the Ecological Design Thinking programme. Her studies explored how to enable eco-centric mindset shifts with industry leaders and nature-based ways of being in organisational and cultural design.

Since graduating, Sarah has advocated for nature-conscious decision-making with The Nature Governance Agency and co-led Urban Growth, a social enterprise with a mission to help folks in the city reconnect with nature. Sarah is now a regular guest lecturer at Ravensbourne University, acting as a bridge between regenerative and mainstream education, and has appeared as a speaker and workshop facilitator at The RSA, Civic Square and The House of Hackney.

Previously, she had a 15-year career leading in the design sector, partnering with global brands on concept generation, innovation and communication campaigns. Pivoting her career to focus purely on regenerative practice, Sarah has since returned to Schumacher College, drawing upon her industry expertise and lived experience as a student.
